GL Accountant with Company Car

Our client is an international company headquartered in Beveren, with an annual turnover of more than €12 million. The company is part of a larger international group and combines stability with growth.

To strengthen its finance team, they are looking for an experienced GL Accountant who wants to contribute to further professionalisation and efficient reporting within a dynamic working environment.

• Responsible for the full accounting cycle (from A to Z) for multiple entities.
• Carrying out monthly and annual closing procedures.
• Preparing financial reports.
• Reviewing and monitoring general ledger and analytical accounting.
• Handling intercompany reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Filing Belgian VAT returns, corporate income tax returns and annual financial statements.
• Contributing to ad hoc projects and process optimisation.

In addition, you will report directly to the Group Finance Manager.

Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Strong communication skills.
English is a must-have, Dutch is a nice-to-have.
Proactive and willing to take initiative and responsibility, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
